MediaTek To Launch Dimensity 9200 on November 8

Qualcomm’s largest competitor in the mobile chipset space, MediaTek are looking to one-up their rivals by announcing their own Flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9200 a whole week earlier.

The Dimensity 9200 will be an octa core processor, featuring 1 Cortex X3 core, 3 A715 cores, and the usual 4 power efficient cores, of the A510 architecture.

It will be interesting to see how it stacks up against the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, considering the slightly weird build of the upcoming Qualcomm chip.

The Dimensity 9200 is also set to feature the Immortalis-G715 GPU, which already beat Apple’s A16 Bionic in early benchmark tests.

We’re excited to see how these upcoming chips perform when they arrive. Let us know  what  you think. Is 2023 going to be MediaTek’s year?

  1. I hope they give Qualcomm a run for their money. Better competition is always good for the customer in the end
